The ChatterVox VM with transdermal microphone is a portable voice amplifier with a transdermal microphone design. The speaker is worn around the waist and can amplify the user's voice by up to 18 decibels. It weighs 1 pound and 6 ounces and can be used for up to 14 hours when fully charged. The transdermal microphone is designed for people with esophageal speech. This is a highly specialized microphone and is not helpful for folks who are not esophageal speakers. The transdermal microphone is worn around the neck and attached with adhesive. Individuals who require amplification of their natural voices to communicate with others to accomplish essential job tasks may benefit from this device.
