Honoring Black History Month

As we enter the month of February, we embark on a journey to celebrate Black History Month, a time to honor the achievements, contributions, and resilience of the Black community.  This year, we invite you to join us in exploring the intersectionality of equity and disabilities within the context of Black History Month.  The Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) supports, equips, and empowers individuals with disabilities throughout DoD to obtain equity, inclusion, and accessibility to information and communication technology to ensure work environments are accessible.

Black individuals with disabilities have played a crucial role in shaping our society, often overcoming unique challenges to make significant contributions.  This month let's highlight their stories and advocate for a more inclusive world where everyone, regardless of race or ability, can thrive.  Check out our videos on our Facebook highlighting black disability history  https://www.facebook.com/DoDCAP/videos
