Once ordered by CAP, the identified end-user will receive an email from Nuance that will include instructions for completion before the request can be fulfilled. Additionally, the end-user's (not a POC) email address must be provided in accordance with manufacturer requirements.*** Dragon Medical Practice Edition is a speech recognition software program designed for individuals in the medical field. This set includes the software and Andrea NC-181 V/M USB Headset. It uses voice commands from an individual to interact with the computer. This program allows individuals to work in the Microsoft Office Suite, email programs and on the internet by eliminating the need for an individual to physically use a mouse and/or keyboard to perform tasks on their computer. Dragon can automate many standard computer commands and tasks through the use of templates, and macros. Individuals who have a dexterity, hearing, visual limitation that requires them to access the computer to accomplish essential job functions may benefit from this device.
