The Livescribe Symphony Smartpen is a cueing/memory aid. Used with specially coded paper and the included Livescribe+ app, this smartpen allows an individual to electronically record written and verbal information while taking notes during meetings or other activities. Notes can be transcribed, synced to the audio recorded at the time of writing, and made searchable. These notes can then be accessed and shared in multiple formats including PDF, email, or cloud services. Livescribe smartpens only work with Livescribe micro-dot-enabled paper. Individuals who have a cognitive limitation causing difficulties in organization, memory, and recall may benefit from this device.
