Accommodations
The Superprint 4425 with ASCII is a TTY. It includes a keyboard, a display for text messages, and an amplified headset that acts as a phone. It has two built in telephone jacks, auto busy redial, and three way calling. The display screen can tell the individual if the status of the call and it has an auto answer feature to take messages when the individual is unable to answer the call. It has 32k of memory, and saves contact lists, messages, and memos. It has a date and time stamp for all calls that can be printed, a flasher, and a TTY announcer that tells a caller the individual is using a TTY. Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and need to communicate with individuals via text instead of voice calls may benefit from this device. Additionally, the ASCII model allows the individual to communicate with people who are using computers with modems.
