UPDATE: Sit-to-Stand Medical Documentation

Recently, CAP has received an increased number of requests for sit-to-stand workstations from federal employees with disabilities within the Department of Defense (DoD) and wounded, ill and injured Service members who are Continuing on Active Duty (COAD).

Due to the influx of these requests, effective immediately medical documentation will be required for all sit-to-stand workstation requests submitted to CAP. All medical documentation must be issued by a licensed medical professional or other appropriate practitioner and indicate a medical diagnosis.

This processing change will allow CAP to continue as a responsible steward of government funding and remain the best possible resource for our customers.

Please note that CAP remains unable to procure sit-to-stand workstations for our customers outside of the DoD.
